Linsey Smith was a key player for Diamonds in 2020, taking four wickets in four appearances and bowling her 30 overs with an economy of 3.4.
Even more crucial in 2021, she took 12 wickets in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, forming one-third of a potent bowling trio with Katie Levick and Beth Langston, and 10 wickets in the Charlotte Edwards Cup.
The Sussex spinner has previously represented Southern Vipers, Loughborough Lightning and Yorkshire Diamonds in the Kia Super League, taking 32 wickets in 32 matches, and Berkshire in the County Championship.
In 2018, Smith made her England debut against Bangladesh and had made nine T20I appearances as of April 2022.
She represented Northern Superchargers in The Hundred in 2021, keeping her contract for this season's competition, as well as turning out for Melbourne Stars in the 2021 Women's Big Bash.
