New Zealand international Kasperek is a leading off-spinner in world cricket
DOB: February 15, 1992
Role: Right-hand bat, right-arm offbreak
Scottish-born New Zealand international Leigh Kasperek joined Northern Diamonds ahead of the 2022 season.
She is one of the leading spin bowlers in women's cricket, balancing potent wicket-taking with miserly accuracy, and adds over 80 caps and 130-plus wickets worth of experience to the side – although she did not feature at the 2022 World Cup.
She has represented numerous sides across her lengthy career, including domestic sides Wellington and Otago, Western Australia and Indian side Velocity, and previously called Yorkshire home in 2019.
She played for the side on the women's county circuit as well as turning out for Yorkshire Diamonds in the KSL, taking 10 wickets at 23.90.
