Emma Lamb is the sister of Lancashire allrounder Danny Lamb and a three-format England international with a dozen caps to her name. In 2022, she featured during both the Ashes and Women’s Cricket World Cup.
She made her debut for Lancashire in 2012, scoring her first century a year later, and went on to represent Lancashire Thunder in the Kia Super League, scoring 329 runs and taking 21 wickets in 30 appearances.
Since the regional restructuring in 2020, Lamb has established herself as one of the standout allrounders on the domestic circuit.
An aggressive opening batter, she was Thunder's leading run-scorer in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Charlotte Edwards Cup and scored 213 runs in three List A outings last season, never failing to pass 50 in an innings. She's also taken 20 wickets in the past two seasons.
Lamb was awarded a central contract by the ECB for 2023.
