A ferocious striker, she scored 249 List A runs, including a knock of 44 (60) in the final at Lord's, as well as 146 T20 runs (second only to Armitage among her teammates) in 2022
DOB: August 20, 2001
Role: Right-hand bat, wicketkeeper
Bess Heath is a force to be reckoned with and a wicketkeeper-batter in the mould of Beth Mooney.
She made her Northern Diamonds bow in 2020 before establishing herself in the side 12 months later, scoring 212 runs in five Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy innings.
In 2022, she scored a further 249 List A runs, including a knock of 44 (60) in the final at Lord's, as well as 146 T20 runs, second only to Armitage among her teammates
Heath is a ferocious striker – in last season's Charlotte Edwards Cup, she struck 20 fours and posted a strike rate of 116.80 while in List A cricket, she regularly strikes above 90 – as well as an increasingly reliable source of runs, both as an opener and in the middle order.
She came through the Derbyshire setup before joining Yorkshire Diamonds ahead of the 2018 Kia Super League season. She has also represented Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, Melbourne Stars in the WBBL, and England A.
Away from cricket, Heath enjoys rebuilding old Land Rovers.
