Moores, who has held the England top job twice, will link up with the franchise for the 2022 campaign, which is due to get under way on January 27
Karachi Kings have named Peter Moores as their head coach for the upcoming Pakistan Super League campaign.
Moores, who has held the England top job twice, will link up with the franchise for the 2022 campaign, which is due to get under way on January 27.
The current Nottinghamshire head coach will replace Herschelle Gibbs, who was recruited by the Kings for their 2021 season.
Karachi won the PSL title in 2020 but finished fourth in the round robin phase of the 2021 campaign and were subsequently eliminated by Peshawar Zalmi in the knockout stage.

"It's so exciting to be able to come and join the Karachi family," he said.
"I can't wait to get stuck it; it's known to be one of the best tournaments worldwide because of the strength of the local talent."
Moores's son Tom has experienced life in the PSL, having previously been on the books of Multan Sultans.
"It's something I can't wait to get involved with," Moores senior said.
"The fact it's being played in Pakistan makes it even better - the traditions, the passion - and we're going to try to play some really exciting, aggressive cricket."
