The incident took place during Lahore Qalandars' 21-run victory over Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League on Saturday (March 4). The West Indian allrounder pleaded guilty to the charge and accepted the action
Kieron Pollard has been reprimanded following his send-off of Abdullah Shafique during Multan Sultans' defeat to Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League.
The West Indian, who has made 39 PSL appearances, pointed in the direction of the dressing room upon completing a caught and bowled chance off Shafique in the 13th over in the Qalandars' innings.
The Pakistan opener, who had earlier been put down by Pollard in the field, scored 48 and the previous delivery had struck the ball for four.

Pollard's actions were found to have breached Article 2.5 of the PSL code of conduct, which prohibits "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a match".
A PSL statement confirmed Pollard had accepted the reprimand from referee Muhammad Javed Malik, having pleaded guilty to the charge levelled by on-field umpires Martin Saggers and Faisal Afridi, third umpire Ahsan Raza and fourth umpire Shozab Raza.

Set 181 to win, Pollard hit 39 to become the third man to pass 12,000 T20 runs while his three sixes ensured he is just the second to bring up 800 maximums in the format.
Sultans eventually finished on 159 for 7, losing by 21 runs, as Qalandars booked their place in the PSL play-offs.
Following stints at Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, Pollard is back in the PSL for a second stint at Sultans after being signed up during the replacement draft.
