Fresh package details announced for fans ahead of Test series tour
PROMOTIONAL FEATURE
England travel to New Zealand to face the Black Caps in a three-match Test series this winter – and you can be part of the action.
To borrow Kiwi Ian Smith’s famous World Cup final line, it was “agony” for England last time out in New Zealand as the home side’s victory by one run in the second Test thwarted the tourists’ bid for a series win in February 2023.
Tim Southee's side clinched a 1-1 series draw after being asked to follow on, with it being only the second time in Test history that the margin of victory was attained.
This tour sees England, captained by christchurch-born Ben Stokes and former Kiwi captain Brendon McCullum lead the side back to their homeland for the first series since the last dramatic series.
The home side themselves will be hoping to build on an encouraging 2023/24 during which crowds were at capacity for seven of the eight days of the two Tests played against Australia, while broadcaster TVNZ also enjoyed impressive audiences.
With all of that in mind, and two sides capable of playing some of the most exciting red ball cricket in the world, the forthcoming tour this winter is sure to grab international attention.
But, if you’re making a journey of that distance, you’re sure to want a little more than just thrilling cricket too – and that’s where Gullivers comes in.
With Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton seleted as the host cities for the series, the ability to explore both the North and South Islands of New Zealand is open for anybody opting to head on tour.
Anyone can buy a ticket to the match and arrange their own hotel, but a Gullivers package will provide the extra enjoyment that completes the special feeling of touring a country like New Zealand – making the trip across the world more memorable for so many reasons.
And your time watching the action is ensured through Gullivers too, giving you peace of mind.
The optional excursions which Gullivers have on offer really prove that these extra touches can make a trip to New Zealand not only a great England tour to look back on, but the holiday of a lifetime too.
Hagley Oval, the Cello Basin Reserve, and Seddon Park are set to be the venues for the three Tests, and Gullivers has announced its packages for what promises to be an action-packed tour and an ultimate cricket getaway.
Alongside fast-paced cricket, expect breathtaking scenery, friendly locals and cultural heritage.
