Many will be anticipating this year's England tour to the West Indies, with hopes for another win at the Kensington Oval. The tour will take place in December this year with England playing 3 ODIs and 5 T20s.

As an officially appointed Travel Agent for the England Tour to the West Indies and the UK's leading sports tour operator, Gullivers Sports Travel can make sure you experience the best cricket holiday possible.

The tour includes visiting four of the beautiful West Indies islands – here is their list of tips for visiting each one.

Antigua

Top thing to see/do: Beaches

Surrounded by beautiful beaches, Antigua has enough that you could visit a new one every day for a year! All beaches are open to the public, so you will have plenty to choose from, from idyllic quiet beaches to a buzzy atmosphere with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Food/Drink to try: Rum Punch

You can’t come to Antigua and not sample rum - it's the island's national drink! Try it in a rum punch, with lashings of lime, sugar and ice.

What we recommend: Tour a Sugar Plantation

Learn about some of the island's history by visiting one of the remaining mills. Over 100 mills remain on the island, demonstrating the significance of the sugar trade to its British colonisers.

Matches - Sir Vivian Richards Stadium-

Sunday, December 3 2023 – 1st ODI

Wednesday, December 6 2023 – 2nd ODI

Barbados

Top thing to see/do: Horse Riding on the beach

Want to explore the beautiful beaches of Barbados, but from a new vantage point? Why not admire the rugged wilderness of the Atlantic coast from the back of a horse. Horse riding is possible on many beaches around Barbados, with guided trips for riders of all abilities.

Food/Drink to try: Seafood

Seafood doesn’t get fresher than this! Try everything from grilled fish to shellfish, and wash it down with a cold beer whilst you watch the sun set over the island's beautiful coastline.

What we recommend: Rum Tour

The world's first rum was distilled on Barbadian sugarcane plantations in the 17th century, so it's fitting that you should try the world's oldest operating distillery, Mount Gay Rum. The distillery is famed for its blended rums and visitors can observe the rum-making process up close during a tour.

Maracas Bay, Trinidad

Grenada

Top thing to see/do: Explore the capital St George's

Stroll around the horseshoe-shaped harbour and watch the colourful fishing boats before heading to the Grenada National Museum to brush up on the island's history. Then pick up spices from the stalls on the market square and refuel with an ice cream.

Food/Drink to try: Crabback

Try the freshest crab, where the meat is then baked in its own shell mixed with herbs, spices and cheese.

What we recommend: Swim in a waterfall

Feeling the heat? Why not cool off by plunging into one of Grenada's waterfalls. There are plenty to choose from, from the easy access Annandale Falls to the Mount Carmel Falls or take a rural hike to the beautiful Mount Carmel Falls.

Matches - National Cricket Stadium

Thursday, December 14 2023 – 2nd T20

Saturday, December 16 2023 – 3rd T20

Trinidad

Top thing to see/do: Maracas Bay

Just a short drive from the capital at Port of Spain, Maracas Bay is a gorgeous arc of golden sand that can be found nestled between the high coastal hills and rainforests on the north coast of Trinidad.

Food/Drink to try: Bake and Shark

Try this classic island street food made up of fried flatbread, shark meat and condiments such as lettuce, coleslaw and tomato.

What we recommend: Caroni Bird Sanctuary

The Caroni Bird Sanctuary sprawls out over a large section of wild swampland. Famed for its population of the beautiful scarlet ibis, which flit through the skies, the area also has herons and slinking snakes, boas and snowy white egrets in its line-up.
