Liv Preston - Allscott Heath

Liv is an absolute shining star of our club. She started when she was one of only two girls at the club. In the space of two years, through inviting school friends, netball friends and representing the club at sports fairs, we now stand at 24 girls with an U12 Girls side and an U10 Girls side.

Liv helps out at All Stars and Dynamos sessions, acting as a great demonstrator and role model to the younger children. She is very passionate about more girls playing for Allscott and also more girls playing cricket in general.

Sara Yasin - Calmore Sports

In early 2021, Southampton Wicketz were yet to engage a female participant. Since Sara joined, she has solely paved the way for other girls and is now leading girl's cricket locally and nationally.

Her involvement in Wicketz and cricket as a young Muslim woman makes her journey even more impressive, as she is not only progressing women and girls cricket locally and nationally but is breaking down cultural barriers for women from faith groups to participate in sports in their local community.

Louie Anderson - Twyford House Cricket Club

Louie Anderson has made an outstanding contribution to cricket in Bristol over the last few years. Louie plays cricket at his local club, Twyford House CC, and participates in sessions delivered by the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation (GCF) coaches in his secondary school

However, it is his contributions to his local Chance to Shine Street hub in Shirehampton that sets Louie apart. Despite going through a busy school period as a Year 10 pupil, Louie still takes the time to attend our sessions and conducts himself in a wonderful manner.
