Adam Gardener - Cheshunt Rosedale CC

In April 2022 one of our team mates Richard Pope sadly lost his wife to breast cancer leaving behind two young children. In order to honour the memory of Richard’s wife, Jennifer, and all the great work she did for charity in her final years, Adam has raised thousands of pounds for Breast Cancer Now and the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

Haydn Dunath and Rob Hendy - Kineton CC

Haydn Dunath and Rob Hendy have been outstanding in putting together a project and motivating a team of people to deliver it. Kineton CC had been looking to rebuild and renovate their pavilion for a number of years but finding £100k plus is difficult in the current climate.

The pair badgered for over two years and all the time everything was getting more expensive but they got there in the end with £127k raised – a new pavilion and a tremendous effort from Haydn and Rob .
