Has been member of Church Eaton CC for in excess of 10 years through junior sides to senior and now a coach and also scores for 2nd team.

Andy is our glue, he holds all departments of the club together, our conductor making sure each section converges, progresses and plays together in one harmonious movement. He deserves all the accolades he gets. Top bloke.

A good man and always willing to help others, loves to see youngsters enjoying the game and is a true clubman. Always there to put himself out where others may shy away.

What I had no room to say in Andy's nomination is that he was on the committee 11 straight years before becoming chairman, also has a full time job, and since this was submitted has also taken on the Saturday morning and evening catering!

As the first Chair of the Club (10 years) I know how much work is involved. However my stint was a walk in tge Park compared to what Andy Maggs has/is achieving. He, almost, single handedly, does just about everything and spends most oh his waking hours either working or planning cricket matters. During his tenure the club has grown from having three adult teams and a small youth set up, to seven adult teams, a ladies section and a youth set up with over 100 members covering all ages. There is no such thing as an irreplaceable person, but Andy is as close as you can get. Mike Mundy, Club President.
