It would have been ineteresting to see how things would have panned out had we lost tosses and batted last. Our batting still looks fragile if you take out Root and Stokes and our bowling, on two benign surfaces, looks pretty toothless without the pace of Wood. Still good to see Stokes looking like a proper all rounder again and great to have a proper keeper behind the stumps. Still don't understand leaving out your two best bowlers. More cheap caps for good county standard seam up.
