Bairstow showed in Sri Lanka that he has the temeperament to graft as well as hit, but playing 2 white ball wicketkeeper batsmen when you have a world class keeper playing for the Lions out there, who is no mug with the bat is a mystery to most. Neither Bairstow or Buttler have anything other than very ordinary test records with the bat. One could easily be dropped without hurting the batting depth atall.
