The pair played against each other when Flintoff returned from retirement, before meeting again with England last summer
Tom Kohler-Cadmore has revealed Andrew Flintoff was extremely apologetic last summer after learning he gave the batter a send-off upon his return to cricket with Lancashire in 2014.
Kohler-Cadmore has played with and against some of the biggest names in cricket, recently jetting off to the IPL, where he was in a side featuring Jos Buttler, Trent Boult and Ravichandran Ashwin.
Before that trip, he was involved in his first England squad last summer, and while he didn't play, he got to mix with more big stars, including his hero, Flintoff, who was involved with the side as a mentor.
Speaking on the Under The Lid - Inside Pro Cricket Podcast, produced in partnership between The Cricketer and the Professional Cricketers' Association, Kohler-Cadmore revealed a feisty previous meeting with Flintoff, which the former Lancashire man apologised profusely.

"He's an absolute legend, it was actually really funny, I played him in his game when he retired and came back," Kohler-Cadmore said.
"Obviously he was a hero of mine growing up, the 2005 Ashes was the thing that got me into cricket. So I'm facing him and he bowled one onto my hip and I hit him for six first ball, secretly I'm like 'how good's this, this is class'.
"Then he ends up getting me out and he gives me the biggest send-off I think I've had to that point.
"I ended up telling him this story and he was so apologetic, he was absolutely devastated about it and I was just like, 'don't be, I absolutely loved it.' Like, that made my game.
"He was just great value, great fun, exactly what you see when you see him on TV, he was just the same kind of guy. Obviously his cricket knowledge was amazing as well."
