Ahead of the crucial fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford, JONATHAN TROTT, GEORGE DOBELL and PHILIP BROWN return to preview the game and consider England's batting options at first drop.

"Nowadays that number three position has changed," says Trotty. "I don't think the position necessarily dictates how a person plays anymore, whereas when I played at number three it did, with what was required of you and the responsibility you were trusted with."
