Hobart Hurricanes take on Perth Scorchers in match eight of the WBBL; the eighth edition of the tournament.
The game is scheduled to start at 7.05pm local time (9.05am BST) on Monday, October 17.
Blacktown International Sportspark in Sydney is set to stage this match.
Both teams come into this match on the back of opening victories against bottom of the table Sydney Thunder. The Hurricanes managed to defeat them by 19 runs while the Scorchers were dominant on the way to a nine-wicket win.
Hobart Hurricanes were sixth in last year's edition so will hope to make the knockout phase this time around after making some great additions to their squad. Lizelle Lee and new captain Elyse Villani make up a very powerful opening pair. They are, however, without Issy Wong as she has been ruled out through injury.
Perth Scorchers won their first ever WBBL crown last season and are hoping to make it back-to-back titles. They have a formidable opening pair themselves with Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney - the latter was last year's top run-scorer. They have also retained the services of Marizanne Kapp, arguably the best allrounder in the game, who played a central part in last year's final victory.
While it is too early in the tournament to assess form for both these sides, they will hope to build on their victories.

Perth Scorchers were electric with the powerplay with the ball against Thunder, and Kapp and Lilly Mills will need to be at their best again if they are to keep Lee and Villani quiet.
The same can be said for Hobart's bowlers who are tasked with keeping Devine and Mooney to as few runs as possible.
Alana King of the Perth Scorchers is the best leg spinner in Australia and how they play her will hold the key to the match
Showers are expected across Sydney on Monday.
This early in the tournament and after a win for both sides changes are probably unlikely.

Last year's champions, Perth Scorchers, should have enough to edge this one against an albeit improved Hurricanes squad.
