Adelaide Strikers take on Perth Scorchers in match 20 of the WBBL; the eighth edition of the tournament.
The game is scheduled to start at 2.15pm local time (5.15am BST) on Friday, October 28.
Allan Border Field in Brisbane is set to stage this match.
Perth Scorchers have started the tournament well, particularly with the ball, and sit second in the table after winning four of their opening five.
Alana King has been key to their success, taking regular wickets at a good economy. She has been well supported by medium pacer Taneale Peschel and South Africa's Marizanne Kapp, who have been putting in some consistent performances in the powerplay overs.
An area of concern for the defending champions is their batting. Having only been tested once, when they failed to chase 166 against Sydney Thunder, the batters are not coming into this game with form. Beth Mooney has been scoring runs at the top, but never really under scoreboard pressure thanks to the good work of the Scorchers' bowling.
Adelaide Strikers had a poor start to their 2022 campaign but have since bounced back, winning their last three matches. Most recently, their opening bowlers Darcie Brown and Megan Schutt produced a sensational performance against Brisbane Heat, claiming four wickets each.
Now fourth in the table, the Strikers will come into this game with confidence. Laura Wolvaardt is now scoring regular runs at No.3, providing stability to their innings, and Katie Mack found some form in the last match, scoring 35 off 26.

The last time the two sides met was in the final last year when Perth Scorchers won by 12 runs.
A good match-up will be how West Indian power-hitter Deandra Dottin faces up to King. Dottin, despite scoring 55 on Monday, has been uncharacteristically slow this tournament. She will need to find some form to make a meaningful impact for her team.
The Scorchers batters will face a challenge in the powerplay after Strikers seamers Brown and Schutt ripped through Brisbane Heat's top order on Thursday. Amanda-Jade Wellington has been superb for the Strikers this year and will look forward to testing Perth's batters.
The weather is forecasted to be sunny with temperatures around 29 degrees celsius.
Neither side has any new availability or injury news.

Perth Scorchers are slight favourites at 11/18. The bookies have Adelaide Strikers to win at 11/8.
With a replay of last year's final, this match is a close one to call. The Strikers' bowlers could cause some problems to the Scorchers' batting and may prove to be the difference in this encounter.
