Old-guard return and a potential white-ball debut is on the cards after Pakistan announced their 17-man squad for three T20 internationals against England.
Former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has been recalled to Pakistan's T20 squad for the three-match series against England.
Shoaib Malik joins the squad after testing negative for coronavirus upon his arrival in the United Kingdom.
Naseem Shah is in line to make his white-ball international debut following his inclusion, there is a return for Fakhar Zaman but Shan Masood misses out.
Babar Azam, who began his T20 captaincy tenure in Australia last year, will continue leading the side. Elsewhere, Faheem Ashraf - who has spent most of the summer in the bio-bubble in England - is once again omitted from the playing squad.
