The Cricketer rates the individual performances of every player during the third Test between Pakistan and England
England wrapped up a 3-0 series win over Pakistan with an eight-wicket win in Karachi. The Cricketer takes a look at the performances of each player over the four days...
Abdullah Shafique (8 & 26): Never looked entirely comfortable on a skiddy surface and hit in the pads by Leach in both innings. 3
Shan Masood (30 & 24): Positive starts in both innings but failed to capitalise. Reverse sweep in the second innings was particularly needless. 4.5
Azhar Ali (45 & 0): Valuable knock in the first innings. Not the end to his Test career he would have hoped for. 5
Babar Azam (78 & 54): Back-to-back half-centuries, including a crucial partnership with Shakeel in the second innings. Not dealt a great selection hand as captain but a bit negative in his approach and opted for some odd reviews. 7
Saud Shakeel (23 & 53): Dismissed by a fine sprawling catch from Pope in the first innings. A mature half-century - his fourth of the series - stabilised Pakistan's batting on day three and delayed England's victory celebrations. 6.5
Mohammad Rizwan (19 & 7): His lean run with the bat continues. Tidy behind the stumps. 3

Agha Salman (56 & 21; 0-5): Important lower order runs, particularly in the first innings alongside the bowlers. Given just one over with the ball. 6
Faheem Ashraf (4 & 1; 0-2 & 0-13): Underused with the ball. In fact, pretty much absent from the match. 3
Nauman Ali (20 & 15; 4-126 & 0-38): Grafted hard for four big wickets, including Duckett, Root and Foakes, in the first innings; took a bit of a beating in the second. Handy lower order runs. 6
Mohammad Wasim Jr (8* & 2; 1-71 & 0-40): Grew into the game after a couple of expensive opening overs and picked up Brook for his maiden Test wicket when the ball started to reverse. Unhelpful conditions for him. 5
Abrar Ahmed (4 & 1*; 4-150 & 2-78): Not quite the heady heights of his debut but a solid showing once again after being asked to carry the bulk of the bowling burden. 7

Zak Crawley (0 & 41): Abrar has his number but looked confident on the attack on day three. 6
Ben Duckett (26 & 82*): Solid start in the first innings; led the onslaught in the second innings with his fourth fifty-plus knock of the series and deserved to hit the winning runs. 7.5
Ollie Pope (51 & DNB): Undone by a fine delivery from Abrar but another strong performance at No.3. 7
Joe Root (0 & DNB; 1-7 & 1-31): Absent with the bat but chipped in when required with the ball, including removing Rizwan in the first innings. 4
Harry Brook (111 & DNB): Arguably his most important century of the series. Mature, controlled and confident. More than made up for running out his captain. 8.5
Ben Stokes (26 & 35*; DNB & 0-20): Another good series for the skipper. Not at fault for his first innings' dismissal and in at the end when England sealed the win. Mixed up his bowlers nicely and delivered eight good overs. 8
Ben Foakes once again delivered a solid performance with bat and gloves [Matthew Lewis/Getty Images]
Ben Foakes (64 & DNB): Another unsung performance with bat and gloves. Steered England from 145 for 5 to 324 for 9 with a calm half-century. Three catches and one stumping. 7.5
Rehan Ahmed (1 & 10; 2-89 & 5-48): Delivered when Stokes turned to him. Maiden Test five-for on debut, ripping through Pakistan's middle order as England searched for a breakthrough. 7.5
Mark Wood (35 & DNB; 1-33 & 1-25): Probably deserved more than two wickets to show for a tidy bowling performance. Very useful knock alongside Foakes to keep the tail alive. 7
Ollie Robinson (29 & DNB; 1-31 & 0-13): Same as Wood. Quick and tidy with the ball, blasted 29 off 20 with the bat. 7
Jack Leach (9* & DNB; 4-140 & 3-72): Lots to show for his 57 overs. Particularly impressive in the second innings with a crucial three-wicket burst. 7.5
