The former South Africa international arrived at Wantage Road in 2013 and has penned a new one-year contract
Northamptonshire have retained batsman Richard Levi on a new one-year deal.
The 32-year-old joined in 2013 after having played 13 T20 internationals for South Africa.
And Levi, who has a UK passport, is braced for a ninth year at Wantage Road.
Across 178 outings for Northants, the right-hander has scored 6,204 runs in all formats.
"I’m pleased to have signed a new deal," Levi said.
"It’ll be my ninth season at Northamptonshire next year and I’m looking forward to going round again."
Last week, Blessing Muzarabani, Brett Hutton, and Tom Sole were released by the club. Jack White, meanwhile, was handed a two-year deal.
