When Berkshire played in the NCCA 50 overs final last August, Davies played as a batsman, while Dan Lincoln (not a wicket-keeper when he played for Middlesex) kept wicket. Davies was the Berkshire wicket-keeper in previous years. Middlesex, Surrey and England have got into the habit of playing 3, 4 or 5 wicket-keepers in each game.
