World Cup umpire list confirmed by ICC

Kumar Dharmasena and Bruce Oxenford will take charge of the competition opener, with David Boon the match referee

The ICC have confirmed the names of the 16 umpires who will preside over matches at this year's World Cup.

The tournament is due to begin at the Oval on May 30, with England taking on South Africa.

Kumar Dharmasena and Bruce Oxenford will take charge of the competition opener, with David Boon the match referee.

Appointments for the semi-final and final will be made at the end of the group phase of the competition.
