"As a result of the injury, Jacks will not play in the IPL – where he was due to represent Royal Challengers Bangalore. He will now begin rehabilitation under Surrey’s supervision."

Will Jacks will play no part in the 2023 Indian Premier League after sustaining a thigh injury during England's tour of Bangladesh.
The allrounder suffered the injury during the second ODI in Mirpur and subsequently missed the T20I series after being sent home.
Following a consulation with a specialist, he has withdrawn from the IPL.

Jacks was due to represent Royal Challengers Bangalore after being picked up for 3.2 crore (approximately £320,000) at December's mini-auction. He was expected to provide cover for Glenn Maxwell in the middle order.
In a statement, Surrey put no timeline on Jacks' return to action: "Will Jacks will be out for a period of time due to a thigh injury sustained whilst on tour in Bangladesh with England.
"As a result of the injury, Jacks will not play in the IPL – where he was due to represent Royal Challengers Bangalore. He will now begin rehabilitation under Surrey’s supervision."
The injury represents a significant blow to Jacks' hopes of being included in England's squad for the 50-over World Cup in India later this year. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh, scoring 27 runs and taking one wicket, and could have used his stint in the IPL to show his skills in Indian conditions.
