The Melbourne Stars pacer mimed sanitising his hands and put on a face mask after taking the wicket of Perth Scorchers batter Kurtis Patterson
Haris Rauf is known for his passionate celebrations, and he caught the eye again during Melbourne Stars’ match against Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash, unveiling a topical 'Covid-safe' celebration.
His Stars side have been one of the worst affected as Covid-19 plagues BBL11, with over 15 players and support staff forced into isolation in recent weeks.
Upon taking the wicket of Kurtis Patterson in the third over, the Pakistan international mimed sanitising his hands before putting on a face mask.
Amazing scenes 😂

Unfortunately, despite the early wicket, the Stars couldn’t stop the Scorchers romping to their 10th win of the season, losing by 47 runs after falling well short in pursuit of 196.
Rauf finished the match with figures of 2 for 38, capturing the wicket of Laurie Evans in the penultimate over, as well as taking the catch to dismiss Nick Hobson.
