Mohammad Naveed, Qadeer Khan and Shaiman Anwar have two weeks to respond to the multiple charges which come two days before the World T20 qualifier
Three United Arab Emirates players have been charged by the ICC with committing anti-corruption violations ahead of the upcoming World T20 qualifier.
Mohammad Naveed, Qadeer Khan and Shaiman Anwar are alleged to have breached 13 counts of world cricket's laws surrounding corruption.
The trio had been named as part of UAE's squad for the World T20 qualifier which begins on Friday, however, they will now be barred from competing.
Captain Naveed and Anwar have been charged with two counts relating to the qualifier, which is scheduled to take place on home turf, while the former is also accused of two breaches linked to the T10 League.
Khan is charged with breaking six laws, two of which are directly linked to recent series against Zimbabwe and Netherlands in 2019.
Mehardeep Chhayakar, who has played cricket in Ajman, is also in the dock after failing or refusing to cooperate with an ongoing investigation.
All four players have two weeks to respond to the charges.
