Join the Taverners for their next online event on Thursday, April 7 when Chris Cowdrey interviews David Gower
Lockdown is affecting us all. Both work and social life is restricted to our homes and most of us are longing to be back outdoors enjoying the spring in ways we fondly remember.
The current situation is tough but the Lord's Taverners are helping us get through it.
They are running a series of online events to satisfy the appetite of cricket fans across the country. We recently enjoyed the hugely entertaining quiz hosted by Test Match Special and Quarantine Cup commentator Daniel Norcross.
Quizzers logged in from all over the world via Facebook Live to take part in the cricket quiz, and there were many famous faces and supporters out there putting their cricketing knowledge to the test.
The quiz was free to enter, however many participants generously contributed a donation to the Taverners.
And the fun doesn't stop there. On Thursday, April 7 at 7pm, Chris Cowdrey will be hosting an exclusive interview with David Gower. The former England captain has long been a supporter of the charity and it is sure to be a fascinating evening of insight and entertainment. This will also be broadcast via Facebook Live.
More details on the event can be found here.
All these can be attended by anyone and can be a great activity to do with family and friends who you can't be with at this time.
All proceeds will make a huge difference to the disadvantaged and disabled young people that the Taverners help every day throughout the UK.
