Sussex's Tom Clark tests positive for Covid-19, seven other players self-isolating

Sussex batter Tom Clark has tested positive for Covid-19

Jamie Atkins, James Coles, Henry Crocombe, Tom Haines, Sean Hunt, Delray Rawlins and Ollie Robinson have all been identified as close contacts and also not be available for selection for the foreseeable future.

An academy player and a member of the backroom team are also deemed to have been in Clark's vicinity 48 hours before the onset of his symptoms.

All affected individuals must undergo a period of self-isolation.

A per government rules, anyone who returns a positive test or is declared a contact to someone who tests positive for Covid-19 must isolate for 10 days.

As a result, Crocombe, Rawlins and Robinson have been withdrawn from the squad to face Kent Spitfires in the T20 Blast on Tuesday (June 29).

Stuart Meaker and Ali Orr have been added to the squad as their replacements.
