Surrey captain Hannah Jones has pulled out of The Hundred, where she was due to represent London Spirit.
Jones, who last year captained Surrey to success in the inaugural London Championship, is suffering from an ongoing shoulder injury and has also been affected by the changing Covid-19 regulations.
The 21-year-old allrounder made six appearances for South East Stars in last season’s Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, scoring 74 runs and taking seven wickets.

Jones is the latest women’s player to pull out of The Hundred in recent weeks. Several high-profile players have also withdrawn, including Sune Luus, Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning, Beth Mooney, Ashleigh Gardner, Nicola Carey, Sophie Molineux, Elyse Vilani and Georgia Wareham.
London Spirit get their inaugural The Hundred campaign underway on July 23 when they face Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston.
