Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans 233-3, Mumbai Indians 171 - Gujarat Titans win by 62 runs
Shubman Gill's fabulous hundred set Gujarat Titans on their way to a second successive Indian Premier League final, powering past Mumbai Indians by 62 runs.
Titans, who were only formed ahead of their first title win in 2022, will have the chance to defend their crown on Sunday against Chennai Super Kings.
Gill smashed 129 off 60 balls, with 10 sixes and seven fours; he shared a 138-run stand for the second wicket in just 10.3 overs with Sai Sudharsan, who made 43 before being retired out as Gujarat chased quick runs at the end of their innings.
Those came in the shape of Hardik Pandya, whose 13-ball 28 took his side to 233 for 3, which ultimately proved far too much for Mumbai.
Only their middle order ever got going, with the stark reality of an enormous run-chase in front of them.
Cam Green's first IPL experience ended with 30 off 20 balls, with Suryakumar Yadav's 61 wrapping up an up-and-down competition for the India star.

MI's response had its most momentum during a 14-ball cameo from Tilak Varma, who hit 38 runs in boundaries in his 14-ball 43. But when he was bowled by Rashid Khan off the final ball of a prosperous powerplay, it left Mumbai three down earlier than they could afford.
Yadav and Green took Mumbai to 124 for 3 inside 12 overs to keep them in the hunt, but both fell three overs apart, which saw the house of cards fall.
It was left to Mohit Sharma to run through Titans' tail, finishing with figures of 5 for 10 in just 14 balls as the reigning champions marched onto their final assignment.
