The bowling allrounder made 15 appearances for Hampshire across all formats last season, taking 29 wickets
Scott Currie has signed a three-year contract with Hampshire which will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2024 season.
Currie, a bowling allrounder, made his Hampshire debut in the 2020 T20 Blast before going on to appear in the Bob Willis Trophy later that season.
In 2021, he established himself as a first-team regular in the T20 Blast, taking a team-leading 19 wickets in nine appearances and bowling career-best figures of 4 for 24 against Somerset in July.
The 20-year-old also made one appearance in the County Championship, taking four wickets against Surrey in April, and took a further six wickets in five Royal London Cup appearances. He was named Hampshire's white-ball bowler of the year at the club's end of season awards.

Commenting on signing his first professional contract, Currie said: "Every time I wear the Hampshire shirt it’s a real honour. This is a club that’s been a big part of my life for the past few years and long may that continue. It’s great to see the nucleus of the squad is predominately home grown - we know each other so well and it makes it even more special to be playing with your mates.
"I want more of the same in limited overs cricket but I have ambitions to break into the red ball team and hopefully I can contribute to what is a really strong County Championship side."
Director of cricket, Giles White, added: "The way Scott performed in the Vitality Blast was really encouraging and he’s got a great attitude to go with a high level of talent.
"There is no reason why he can’t have a big impact across the formats in the coming seasons; he has ability with the bat and in the field and if he continues to develop in all three departments, he will become an influential player for us."
