Durban Super Giants will host Joburg Super Kings in match two of the SA20 in 2023.
Start of play is scheduled for 5.30pm local time (3.30pm GMT) on Wednesday, January 10.
The game will be staged in Durban at Kingsmead.
Well, this is the first match of a brand new competition, so there's no current form or historic form to go on for either of these two sides.
Durban are owned by the same group which owns Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League. They are led by captain Quinton de Kock and head coach Lance Klusener.
Joburg are owned by the Chennai Super Kings owners. They are skippered by Faf du Plessis, and Stephen Fleming is their head coach.

Durban Super Giants' batting lineup looks thin, and on face value it appears Quinton de Kock will have to do a lot of heavy lifting if they are going to go deep in the competition. An early collapse leaves a middle-order filled with aggressive allrounders, none of whom have established staying power.
De Kock is likely to be paired with Johnson Charles at the top of the order, and the opening pair will need to get their side off to a flyer. If Joburg Super Kings' powerplay bowling can keep it tight, or remove one or both of the openers, they will be a considerable leap closer to victory.
A dry day is expected in Durban, where temperatures could touch 26 degrees Celsius at the start of play.
Joburg Super Kings were stung 10 days before the start of the season with the news the ECB had withdrawn star batsman Harry Brook from the competition. The franchise faces a tough task filling that void.
Another late dropout was Caleb Seleka, with Neil Brand coming into the Joburg squad in his place.
