The academy graduate, who has kicked on since making his senior debut last summer, has penned a three-year at Trent Bridge
Ben Martindale has signed a new three-year contract with Nottinghamshire, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.
The 20-year-old allrounder made his senior debut in last season's Royal London Cup against Gloucestershire at Bristol.
He has kicked on as part of the second XI, averaging 26 in the Championship and hitting two fifties in seven innings during the T20 competition.
Part of the Notts age-group system since the age of 10, he penned a professional deal in August 2022.
"I am really pleased; from where I was last year to now, everything has progressed so quickly," Martindale said.

"Over the last year, with training through the winter and fully throwing myself in, I feel like I have really found myself as a cricketer.
"I have figured myself out as a player and worked out what makes me tick. That has made a massive difference.
"It is a lovely feeling to be playing at the ground you've always pictured yourself at. Hopefully, I can keep going the way I am over the next three years, pushing for a place in the first team in all three formats and helping us to win games with performances."
Head coach Peter Moores added: "Ben has earned this contract through sustained performances this year," Head Coach Peter Moores said.

"He has made everyone stand up and take note not just through the volume of runs he has scored, but the way he has scored them.
"He has been the standout performer in the Second XI so far this season, though it his potential to develop further that is really exciting.
"It's always rewarding to see someone come through our own system, and this contract is a testament to everyone at the club who has worked with him to help him get to this point.
"Hopefully he inspires other young players in our pathway to keep working hard, and we’re all looking forward to watching him progress over the coming seasons."
