Northants are in Singapore, where there are 82 active cases of coronavirus, until March 20 but they will not be travelling to Trent Bridge
Nottinghamshire have cancelled their pre-season clash with Northamptonshire later this month and replaced it with a match against Lancashire.
Northants have travelled to Singapore, where there are 82 active cases of coronavirus, to prepare for the new season until March 20.
They were due to face Notts in a three-day warm-up match from March 31 at Trent Bridge, but Peter Moores' side have removed the match from their schedule.
Instead, they will take on Lancashire, who cancelled their trips to United Arab Emirates and South Africa due to the coronavirus outbreak, from March 30.
Three counties have decided against overseas pre-season tours, with Surrey and Worcestershire joining the list in recent days.
It remains to be seen how Northants fill their schedule before their campaign gets underway
They are due to face Leeds Bradford MCCU at the County Ground in a three-day game, their final warm-up match before the season commences.
Warwickshire are the opponents in their County Championship opener at Edgbaston on April 19.
