Ollie Pope will continue to keep wicket, with Ben Foakes missing out, as the tourists make just a single change from the 74-run victory in Rawalpindi
England have recalled Mark Wood for the second Test against Pakistan in Multan.
In the only change from the 74-run win in Rawalpindi, the Durham seamer replaces Liam Livingstone.
Lancashire's Livingstone was ruled out of the remainder of the tour after suffering a knee injury during the first Test.
Ollie Pope will continue to keep wicket as Ben Foakes, who missed the first match having been among those ill, sits out for the second straight Test.
The tourists have also resisted freshening up their seam attack. James Anderson and Ollie Robinson bowled 89 overs between them in Rawalpindi but have recovered well, meaning Jamie Overton misses out.

Wood missed the first Test having been given two weeks off to allow a hip problem to subside.
He joined up with the rest of the squad when they touched down in Pakistan just days before the first Test and was not considered for selection.
It will be the 32-year-old's first Test outing for nine months having missed the entire English summer with an elbow injury which eventually required two bouts of surgery to fix.
"Having someone in your squad who can bowl 150kph is a massive bonus for anyone around the world, especially out here with Pakistan being a very hard place to come and win someone of his calibre with what he brings is going to be massive for us," said captain Ben Stokes.
"It is going to add to our ability to take 20 wickets. It is a different story having three bowlers bowling low 80s (mph) when Mark Wood is bowling 150. He is fit, firing and ready to go."

Stokes was at pains to stress that Foakes remains "the No.1 gloveman in England" and "the best keeper in the world" and that his omission would have no bearing on future selection. He also revealed that Ben Duckett could be given the gloves to help manage Pope's workload if required.
"If circumstances mean that if Popey is a bit tied and he could take the gloves, albeit very unlikely," he added.
"The performance he (Pope) put in last week as an individual was outstanding.
"To stand behind the stumps for the amount of time he did after scoring a hundred and standing in the fielding and going out to bat again, especially for someone who is not used to doing that he took it in his stride and really enjoyed his time behind the stumps.
"He did a fantastic job for someone who is a part-time keeper."
The second Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium starts on December 9.

Why have we taken Foakes? Yes, we won the test, but it would have been easier and quicker had Pope not dropped three catches!!! Where is the logic? Foakes is the best, so put him there. We don't want all that Buttler/Bairstow fiasco all over again.
