Mohali: Lucknow Super Giants 257-5, Punjab Kings 201 - Lucknow Super Giants win by 56 runs
Lucknow Super Giants smashed the second-highest total in IPL history on their way to a 56-run victory over Punjab Kings.
Marcus Stoinis hammered 72 after Kyle Mayers had smashed a 24-ball 54, which included 52 runs in boundaries, before Nicholas Pooran added the finishing touches to the carnage with 45 in 19 deliveries.
They hit 27 fours and 14 sixes in 20 overs of brutal aggression as Liam Livingstone made his second appearance in this year's competition after injury.
Ayush Badoni contributed 43 from No.3, while India left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh went for 54 runs in four overs. Kagiso Rabada was similarly attacked, going for 52 from his allocation on a remarkable night in Mohali.

Only once in the IPL has a team made a higher total – Royal Challengers Bangalore plundered 263 for 5 a decade ago – and just four teams in franchise competitions have made a higher total than Lucknow's 257 for 5.
In response, Punjab were never in touch but did manage to reach 201, but they were bowled out with a ball to spare.
Lucknow remarkably used nine bowlers, with Atharva Taide top-scoring with 66. Sikandar Raza (36), Livingstone (23), Sam Curran (21) and Jitesh Sharma (24) all provided lively cameos, but they would have had to break a domestic T20 record in order to reel in a mammoth target.
