The batter, who came through the club's pathway, has made over 150 appearances in all formats for Leicestershire, scoring 5,188 runs
Leicestershire captain Lewis Hill has put pen to paper on a long-term contract which will keep him at Grace Road until at least the end of the 2025 season.
A product of the club's pathway, Hill made his first-team debut back in July 2012 and has gone to establish himself as a reliable source of runs in all formats.
He has made 64 first-class appearances for Leicestershire, scoring 3,078 runs at 31.40, and has started the 2023 season in hot form, first captaining his side to an historic victory over Yorkshire and following it up with a career-best knock of 162 not out – his sixth first-class century – against Derbyshire.
Hill has made a further 46 List A appearances for the club, scoring 1,139 runs at 28.47, while in 79 T20 outings, he has scored 971 runs at a strike rate of 125.45.

The 32-year-old replaced Callum Parkinson as Leicestershire's red-ball skipper at the end of 2022 and also leads the side in the One-Day Cup.
Commenting on his new contract, Hill said: "It's fantastic to continue my journey with Leicestershire. The last couple of years have been great for me individually and I can't wait to build on those foundations with this group.
"Looking at our squad and what people are doing around the ground, we seem to be going places and it's great to be onboard with that. Hopefully as a team we can bring some silverware and success to Grace Road in the next couple of years."
Director of cricket, Claude Henderson, added: "Lewis has been a phenomenal servant to Leicestershire over the past decade and exemplifies the qualities we are looking for at the club.
"He is a popular figure in the changing room and has taken to the captaincy perfectly. There are really positive signs for us in the years to come and Lewis will be a major part of that."
