The 20-year-old set several records during the shortened 2020 season and has been rewarded with an extension
Jordan Cox has agreed to a two-year contract extension with Kent.
The 20-year-old will now remain with the club until the end of the 2023 campaign.
Cox, an academy graduate, became an established member of the Kent senior squad during a truncated 2020 season.
He scored a maiden double century against Sussex, with his unbeaten 238 part of a record 423-run stand with Jack Leaning.
Amid his four Bob Willis Trophy outings, Cox also played eight times in the T20 Blast scoring 75 runs.
"I'm really excited about the forward momentum of this club and I'm delighted to extend my contract at my home county," said the youngster.
"I'm working hard to keep improving my game and I know that Kent is the best place for me to be right now, amongst a brilliant group of players and coaches all working in unison.
"This is just the beginning for me and I can't wait to contribute further in a Kent shirt."
Director of cricket Paul Downton added: "He is a young player who has already shown us a glimpse of what he can do and If he continues to work hard in training and to develop his game then he can become a major contributor for Kent in the coming seasons."
