Jack Burnham has left Durham at the end of his contract.

Burnham, the former England Under-19 international batsman, made just under 100 appearances for the county across formats after making his debut in 2015.

Despite showing tremendous promise in his teenage years, Burnham's career stuttered after he was handed a year-long ban in 2017 for failing three recreational drugs tests.

Durham stuck by him and he returned to the club for the 2019 season.

However, the 24-year-old and the county will now go their separate ways.

Durham director of cricket Marcus North said: “Everyone at Durham wishes Jack the best of luck with his future endeavours.”
