Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad 186-5, Royal Challengers Bangalore 187-2 - Royal Challengers Bangalore win by eight wickets
A sublime Virat Kohli century meant that Heinrich Klaasen's own hundred was in vain as Royal Challengers Bangalore kept their playoff fate in their own hands.
Kohli fell for exactly 100 but had by then all but ensured RCB came out on top against bottom side Sunrisers Hyderabad, who can now only reach 10 points, which won't be enough to finish any higher than ninth.
The former India captain shared a 172-run stand with Faf du Plessis, who himself made 71 in 47 balls, as RCB launched an imperious riposte to Sunrisers' 186 for 5.
Kohli hit 12 fours and four sixes before he eventually fell to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was expensive in his four overs as Hyderabad tried and failed to keep a lid on a star-studded opening pair.

Earlier, Klaasen had been Sunrisers' lone star, smashing 104 off 51 balls, including eight fours and six sixes.
His teammates managed just 82 runs off their 69 deliveries, with Abhishek Sharma (11), Rahul Tripathi (15) and Aiden Markram (18) all struggling to get going.
There was at least a score for Harry Brook, who was recalled by Sunrisers. He finished unbeaten on 27 from 19 balls as the bottom side succumbed for a ninth time in 13 matches.
