Johnson impressed for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash, taking nine wickets with an economy of 7.55 in 10 appearances, and has recently earned franchise contracts in USA and Canada
Ihsanullah has withdrawn from The Hundred, with Spencer Johnson joining Oval Invincibles as his replacement.
The Pakistan international, who was due to make his debut for the Invincibles against London Spirit on August 2, has been ruled out of the 2023 campaign due to an injury sustained during an ODI against New Zealand in April.
The 20-year-old, who has taken 36 wickets in 24 T20 outings to date, is the latest player to pull out of the tournament, with Rashid Khan and Olly Stone among those to make themselves unavailable in the recent weeks.

His replacement is Australian left-armer Johnson, who recently enjoyed franchise stints in USA and Canada with LA Knight Riders and Surrey Jaguars, respectively.
The 27-year-old only has 10 T20 appearances to his name but impressed during the 2022/23 Big Bash, taking nine wickets with an economy of 7.55 for Brisbane Heat.
He joins an Invincibles side keen to improve on their previous two campaigns. While the women's side have lived to their name, winning back-to-back titles, the men's side are yet to reach the knockout stages.
Johnson's availability "will be confirmed in due course", the Invincibles said in a statement.
