Since arriving at Hampshire in 2016, Holland has made 76 appearances across all formats
Ian Holland has signed a contract extension with Hampshire to keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2023 season.
The allrounder joined the club in 2016 and has gone on to make 76 appearances across all formats, 50 of which have come in first-class cricket. He has scored 2,190 runs and taken 84 wickets.
In 2021, he established himself as a pillar of the red-ball side, scoring 766 runs (two centuries, four half-centuries) and taking six wickets, and while he has struggled to replicate that form with the bat in 2022 – he has scored 195 runs in six outings – he has already matched last season’s wicket haul.
At international level, Holland has made eight ODI appearances for USA, scoring 244 runs and taking seven wickets, as well as scoring 47 runs and taking 10 wickets in six T20I outings.

Holland has also represented Northamptonshire and Victoria during his professional career.
Commenting on his contract extension, Holland said: "I’m very happy to extend my stay at the Ageas Bowl. I’ve loved every minute of my time here at Hampshire and am excited for what the future holds.
"We’ve got a great group of players and look forward to pushing on across all fronts this summer."
Giles White, Hampshire’s director of cricket, added: "Ian is a really important part of the squad.
"He brings energy, enthusiasm and commitment, and always puts the team’s needs ahead of his own. He’s an important player for us on and off the pitch – a real role model – and we are delighted he’s staying."
