The left-arm quick will be reunited with former Sussex coach Jason Gillespie at The Gabba
Adelaide Strikers have signed George Garton as an overseas player for the upcoming Big Bash League.
The move sees the left-arm quick reunited with former Sussex coach Jason Gillespie.
Garton has enjoyed an encouraging summer, earning a maiden England call-up, leading Southern Brave to the men's Hundred title and Sussex to T20 Blast Finals Day.
That form helped Garton picked up a maiden overseas franchise contract with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
He becomes the first foreign player confirmed to represent the Strikers in BBL 11.
Danny Briggs, Phil Salt and Rashid Khan were part of the group last season when they were knocked out in the Eliminator for a second straight campaign by Sydney Thunder.

"George has been on England’s radar for a while now," said head coach Gillespie.
"He bowls left-arm fast, he can swing the new ball which is great, he is an aggressive left-hand batter who can clear the rope and he would be one of the best fielders in the world at the moment. He is top drawer.
"We identified that in the middle-order, to have a batting and bowling option is something that will be extremely useful to us.
"We are comfortable that we have a lot of great top-order options, but this is an area that we can strengthen within our squad."
