Delany will be available for the whole of the Blast, including the knockout stages, should the Foxes progress
Ireland allrounder Gareth Delany will turn out for Leicestershire Foxes in this year's T20 Blast.
Delany replaces Janneman Malan, whose deal at the Fischer County Ground was cancelled earlier this week because of issues relating to travel and quarantine restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He will be available for the whole of the Blast, including the knockout stages, should the Foxes progress.
"I'm really excited to be playing in the Blast, I was really unsure if I'd ever have the opportunity to play in county cricket, so I'm over the moon to be playing with Leicestershire and very grateful to both the club and Cricket Ireland for this chance," Delany said.
"It’ll be a challenging environment, but one from which I am hoping to further develop my game."
