Billy Root has been cleared to continue bowling in competitive county cricket after passing an independent assessment on his action.
The Glamorgan allrounder was suspended from bowling on May 17 after his action was reviewed by the ECB's Bowlers with Suspect Actions process.
Root underwent the independent testing on August 23, which confirmed the 27-year-old has remedied his action to display elbow extension within the permitted 15 degrees.

The ECB has received the report of the assessment and as a result Root is immediately free to resume bowling.
Root has scored 679 runs for his county in 18 innings this season in the County Championship at at an average of 39.94.
The news will come as a huge boost to Glamorgan, who have slipped to fourth in division two of the County Championship but remain in contention of sealing promotion to the top flight.
