Where is the match being played?

Every game in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League is being held at Warner Park on St Kitts, in an effort to minimise the Covid-19 risk to the tournament.

Who’s got the form?

In a very tight group where five teams have won a game each, these two are no exceptions. Certainly, Jamaica's victory was more emphatic - they posted the 11th-highest T20 score of all time and Andre Russell smashed 50 off 14 balls - but they then lost their second game against Barbados, against whom they will be out for some revenge.

Royals, though, suffered a defeat of their own on the next day, being bowled out cheaply by Trinbago Knight Riders, who chased down 123 with ease.

Shamarh Brooks and Carlos Brathwaite were the only players to pass 15 for Tallawahs in the reverse fixture, while Barbados have three of the 10 top run-scorers in the competition at this early stage.

Who to watch?

Russell, obviously. His 14-ball half century against St Lucia Kings was the fastest in CPL history: a takedown that contributed to Wahab Riaz's figures of 0 for 61 in three overs - the fourth-most expensive three-over spell in T20 history.

Tallawahs' final total of 255 for 5 was also the second-highest CPL score, while the 49 runs scored by Russell in the 19th and 20th overs gave him a share of the all-time record for the highest number in that timeframe in a T20 innings - a record he now holds with Umar Akmal.

Jamaica know all about Barbados' leading run-scorer Glenn Phillips, given the New Zealander's time with the franchise. He made a half century when the teams met on Saturday.
