Hartley, who has represented her country in 32 internationals, last featured for England on their tour of Sri Lanka in March of this year
England have revealed that left-arm Lancashire spinner Alex Hartley will not see her central contract renewed when her current contract expires in January.
Hartley, who has represented her country in 32 internationals, last featured for England on their tour of Sri Lanka in March of this year.
The 26-year-old has 28 ODI and four T20I appearances to her name, taking 42 wickets.
Discussions were held with the player earlier in the month while England say the complete list of central contracts will be announced "later this year".
Interim Head Coach, Ali Maiden, said: "Alex is undoubtedly a talented bowler and the door is absolutely never closed on her returning to the international stage.
"We have a lot of talented spinners in the current playing group and that competition places is healthy for us moving forward."
