India are bound for the Guyana semi-final if they progress to the latter stages of the Men's T20 World Cup.

Scheduled for 10.30am local time (8pm IST, 3.30pm BST) on June 27, the decision accommodates the Indian TV audience.

The first semi-final at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba takes place the previous evening (June 26) at 8.30pm local time.

A 10am local time start has been confirmed for the final in Barbados on June 29.

This stipulation is not in place for any of the other 19 nations competing in the West Indies and the United States.

In the event India are not involved in the latter stages then the winners of Group 1 will go to Trinidad, with the nation topping Group 2 heading to Guyana.

Being pencilled in for the second semi-final does come at a cost for India, however. The playing conditions reveal that, unlike the first semi-final and the final itself, there is no reserve day in place for the game.

Instead, a maximum of 250 minutes have been allocated to deliver a result in the event of delays - an hour longer than for the other knockout matches.

Unlike in the group stage, when five overs-a-side will constitute a match, 10 are required for the semi-finals and final.

If no play is possible in either semi-final then the sides who finished top of the second round groups will progress to the final. Joint winners will be declared if the final and the reserve day (June 30) are abandoned.
