If you're going to be the best it has to start at the top with management and captain. Buttler has never been a great captain and the management gap between the T20 and ODI is huge. T20 is a far more difficult format in which to have consistent success so it needs consistently reviewing. Can't play with favourites here.

Never thought for a minute we could win this. Look at how the IPL is revered yet the wonderful blast is mistreated. India have better players but England guilty of hanging on to players who are well past it. What about developing younger players like Jacks or Smeed?
