Shamarh Brooks has been enlisted as a replacement after travel chaos involving the Guyana Amazon Warriors captain
West Indies have axed Shimron Hetmyer from their men's T20 World Cup squad after he missed a rescheduled flight to Australia.
Hetmyer was originally due to travel down under on October 1 but asked for the flight to be moved for "family reasons".
A new travel date of October 3 was found, with Cricket West Indies warning any failure to fulfil the trip would see him dropped from the squad completely.
Hetmyer, 34, subsequently informed the governing body he would not be at the airport in time for the flight heading first to New York.
No reason for the second missed flight has been revealed. Shamarh Brooks has been enlisted as a replacement player for the tournament.

CWI director of cricket Jimmy Adams said: "We changed Shimron's flight from Saturday to Monday due to family reasons
"It was made clear to him that if there were any further delays and issues with his travel to Australia then we would have no choice but to replace him in the squad.
"We are not prepared to compromise the team's ability to prepare for this extremely important global event."
Brooks has played 11 T20Is, scoring 214 runs at 23.77. He arrives into the squad after signing off the Caribbean Premier League in style for eventual winners Jamaica Tallawahs, scoring 47 in the final after hitting a maiden 20-over century in Qualifier 2.
The 2012 and 2016 champions face Australia in two T20Is on October 5 and 7 before their campaign begins in Round 1 against Scotland in Hobart on October 17.
