Who’s got the form?

Scotland have a perfect record thus far, having won each of their first two matches in this year's competition - the first against Bangladesh and the second against Papua New Guinea. It puts them in prime position to go through to the Super 12s as group winners, so long as they can overcome Oman in what could become a winner-takes-all decider.

Oman hammered PNG in their opener, before falling away against Bangladesh despite a promising start, meaning that they will likely need a win over the Scots to stand any chance of progressing, with Bangladesh heavy favourites to overcome Papua New Guinea in their final game. It is also why it is imperative that Scotland beat Oman - to avoid a potential situation that would see three sides level on four points apiece and the subsequent involvement of net run rate.

What are the odds?

Scotland are heavy favourites to win this match, with Dafabet offering odds of 4/7. A win for Oman is available at 11/8.

Who are the ones to watch?

Chris Greaves announced himself onto the global stage with a player-of-the-match display in Scotland's win over Bangladesh, before Richie Berrington - the third-ranked T20I allrounder in the world by the ICC's metrics - smashed 70 against Papua New Guinea.

Left-arm spinner Mark Watt is a wily customer, not looking to impart too many revs on the ball and instead firing it into the block-hole and varying his position on the crease. Neither George Munsey nor Kyle Coetzer - both dangerous at the top of the order, though Coetzer is in the midst of a poor run - have fired yet.

For Oman, Jatinder Singh and Aqib Ilyas both struck half centuries in the demolition of PNG, before Jatinder followed up with 40 against Bangladesh. With the ball, Bilal Khan is a high-class operator, swinging the new ball with his left-arm angle.

What's the team news?

Safyaan Sharif missed out in Scotland's second game with a groin niggle, where he was replaced by Alasdair Evans.
